Stepping out of the comfort zone

For my Final cut slideshow, I was working on a story about how a college student from CU-boulder step out of their comfort zone and try her best to make friends and keep up with her study and try to work to gain more experience from a new society at the same time.

In this story, I narrow it down on one person’s story, because in this story you could feel her happiness, sadness and all the emotions in this interview. Momo Xin Zhang is an interesting girl that could make you laugh with her, but after all the sweet moment, you can still feel the stress behind all her smile.

Cory this rocks. You took a topic that is so overlooked around DU and made it interesting. I bet Anthony’s would like to link something like this to their website, since a lot of restaurants in the DU area have a hard time getting their feet off the ground and Anthony’s on Evans is more like an institution.

Sorry Dian, I clicked on the wrong Comment button. Nonetheless, as I told you when we did the workshop on this, I think you did a wonderful job painting the picture of an international student’s experience at DU and in a new, foreign county. I like that the photos show the specific people embracing new experience. Nice work!
